GreenHarvest AI
AgriTech Jorhat

GreenHarvest AI

From a college project in Jorhat to an AI-powered crop disease detection platform serving 5,000+ tea farmers across Assam.

The Challenge

Tea farmers in Upper Assam were losing 15-20% of their crop to undetected fungal diseases with no affordable diagnostic tools.

The Solution

A mobile app using computer vision to detect 12 common tea plant diseases from a phone camera, with treatment recommendations in Assamese.

The Impact

5,000+ farmers onboarded, 18% reduction in crop loss for active users, Rs 2.3 Crore in cumulative savings for farmers.

AISF's Role

AISF connected GreenHarvest with IIT Guwahati's AI lab for model training, matched them with a mentor from the tea industry, and facilitated their first pilot with a Jorhat tea estate.

SilkRoute Digital
Textiles & Handloom Kamrup Metropolitan

SilkRoute Digital

Bringing Assam's traditional silk weavers to global markets through a D2C platform with blockchain-verified authenticity.

The Challenge

Assamese Muga and Pat silk artisans earned a fraction of the retail price, with no direct access to premium buyers nationally or internationally.

The Solution

A direct-to-consumer marketplace with NFT-based authenticity certificates, connecting 200+ weaver clusters to buyers in 15 countries.

The Impact

200+ weaver clusters onboarded, 3x increase in average weaver income, exports to 15 countries within 18 months.

AISF's Role

AISF matched SilkRoute with the Handloom & Textiles Department for initial weaver database, connected them with an angel investor through the portal, and supported their GeM registration.

FloodWatch NE
CleanTech Nagaon

FloodWatch NE

IoT-based early flood warning system protecting 50,000+ households across flood-prone districts of Assam.

The Challenge

Annual flooding in Brahmaputra basin districts causes massive displacement with minimal early warning infrastructure in rural areas.

The Solution

Low-cost IoT water-level sensors deployed along rivers, feeding real-time data to a prediction model that sends SMS/WhatsApp alerts to communities 6-12 hours before flooding.

The Impact

50,000+ households covered, 6-12 hour advance warnings, adopted by 3 district administrations as official early warning system.

AISF's Role

AISF connected FloodWatch with NIT Silchar for sensor R&D, facilitated a pilot with Nagaon district administration, and matched them with a CSR-focused corporate partner for scaling.
