AISF (Assam Innovation & Startup Foundation) is the nodal agency under the Department of Innovation, Incubation & Start-Ups (DIIS), Government of Assam, responsible for implementing the Assam Startup and Incubation Policy (ASIP) 2025-30.
Five types of ecosystem actors can register: Startups (for MASI ID), Incubators (for Hub ID), Mentors (for Mentor ID), Investors (for Investor ID), and Corporates (for Corporate ID). Each track has specific eligibility criteria.
Yes, registration on the AISF portal is completely free. It is a Government of Assam initiative funded under ASIP 2025-30.
MASI ID (Matched Assam Startup Identifier) is a unique identifier assigned to every registered startup. It serves as your passport within the Assam startup ecosystem, enabling matching with mentors, investors, and incubators.
Our rule-based matching engine scores compatibility between startups and ecosystem partners based on sector overlap, geographic proximity, stage fit, and capacity availability. Matches scoring above our threshold are automatically suggested to both parties.
Yes. The portal is built with privacy by design, compliant with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023. All data is hosted on Indian servers and accessible only to authorized AISF staff.
